The assembly reviewed progress on the Association‘s work and the indicators achieved during 2025. The members of the General Assembly adopted the report on the Association’s activities to the end of 2025, together with the financial report for the same period. A draft budget for the Association for 2026 was also adopted unanimously.
About the National Centre of Excellence
The General Assembly is the body on which every organisation in the consortium is represented. The composition of the Management Board and of the professional team is published on this site, and more about the Centre’s objectives and structure can be found on the About us page.
The Centre brings together 18 organisations — institutes of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and five universities — and operates across three campuses in Sofia with 40 laboratories, described on the Infrastructure and Laboratories page. Enquiries are therefore directed centrally through Contacts.
The work is funded under project BG16RFPR002-1.014-0006 of the Programme “Research, Innovation and Digitalisation for Smart Transformation” 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
