Ivo Baev
Ivo Baev holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE).
Experience
He is an expert with more than 15 years of experience in management consulting, including at internationally recognised audit and financial firms.
Achievements
From August 2019 to December 2023 he held the position of project manager of Project BG05M2OP001-1.001-0008 “National Centre for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies” under the Operational Programme “Science and Education for Smart Growth” (OP SESG).
Since May 2025 Ivo Baev has been Administrative Director of the National Centre of Excellence “Mechatronics and Clean Technologies” association. He performs the functions of administrative head in accordance with the Development Programme and Business Plan of the National Centre of Excellence “Mechatronics and Clean Technologies”; he oversees the financial and technical reporting process, the establishment of close cooperation with potential industrial partners, etc.

The Centre brings together 18 organisations — institutes of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and five universities — and operates on three campuses in Sofia. In addition, its activities are funded under the Research, Innovation and Digitalisation for Smart Transformation Programme 2021–2027.
