Asya Yosifova-Manova Business Development Expert
Asya Yosifova-Manova joined the team of the Lozenets campus at the beginning of 2023 as a Monitoring and Control Expert, and since 2025 she has been responsible for Business Development.
Experience
She graduated from the 91st German Language High School “Prof. Konstantin Galabov” in Sofia. She holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Sofia. She completed specialisations at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and Bocconi University (Milan). She has many years of experience in the public and private sectors in the field of innovation and the management of European projects under Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+ and others. She is an expert evaluator for the EIC Accelerator of the European Innovation Council. She is proficient in English and German.
Asya Yosifova-Manova at the National Centre of Excellence
Asya Yosifova-Manova is a member of the team of the National Centre of Excellence “Mechatronics and Clean Technologies”. The full team is presented on the Professional Team and Management Board pages. Enquiries to individual team members should therefore be directed via the Contacts page.
The Centre brings together 18 organisations — institutes of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and five universities — and operates on three campuses in Sofia. In addition, its activities are funded under the Programme “Research, Innovation and Digitalisation for Smart Transformation” 2021–2027.
