The laboratory performs research on mechatronic systems for protection and accumulation of energy from vibration and acoustic noise. Potential partners and clients of the laboratory can be research teams in the country and abroad with similar scientific interests, as well as producers of:
- systems for active and passive protection against vibrations and acoustic noise;
- materials used to generate electricity from vibration and acoustic noise;
- structures used to generate electricity from vibrations and acoustic noise
- etc
ACTIVITIES
The laboratory develops systems for protection and generation of electricity from vibration and acoustic noise.
- Measurement of the mechanical and electrical characteristic /characterizing the efficiency of the system/ of systems for protection and generation of electric energy from vibrations and acoustic noise;
- Development of systems for protection and generation of electricity from vibration and acoustic noise;
- Control of the parameters of built systems and elements for protection and generation of electricity from vibrations and acoustic noise;
- Simulation studies of the characteristics of new and existing systems for protection and generation of electricity from vibration and acoustic noise;
SERVICES
- Assessment of the influence of an impact noise source;
- Assessment of the influence of an impact source of vibrations;
- Assessment of the resistance of structures to vibration;
- Identification of areas with increased levels of acoustic noise and taking measures to reduce acoustic noise to acceptable levels;
- Study of the effectiveness of noise barriers under specific operating conditions;
- Optimization of the construction of noise barriers for specific operating conditions;
- Study of the characteristics of materials in terms of sound-insulation and reflecting properties;

- Improving the noise protection of sources with mass noise pollution - busy intersections, metro stations, railway stations, noisy industrial sites;
- Determining the necessary characteristics of the devices for generating energy from vibration and noise;
- Determining the efficiency of devices for generating energy from vibration and noise;
