The Section performs research in the field of mechatronic technologies for vibro and noise protection, with main application in automotive and aviation equipment (with emphasis – unmanned aerial vehicles), as well as their application in wind turbines.
ACTIVITIES
The Section carries out research activities in the field of mechatronic technologies for vibration and noise protection, with main application in automotive and aviation equipment, as well as their application in wind turbines:
- Research activities related to the application of mechatronic technologies in the aerodynamic, dynamic and aeroelastic modelling of rotors and propeller groups of unmanned aerial vehicles and wind turbines;
- Synthesis of mechatronic systems for active control of vibration processes and dynamic loads of propellers, rotors, propellers, transmissions and the tower of wind turbines and small aircrafts;
- Simulation and analysis of vibration impacts on objects of transport equipment and industry;
- Simulation and analysis of noise impacts on objects of transport equipment and industry;
SERVICES
- Experimental determination of the optimal operating regimes of propellers for small multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles and wind turbines.
- Flight modeling of unmanned transport aircraft with hybrid propulsion in order to assess its energy efficiency.
- Simulation of the rotor work in order to create and validate accurate numerical models.
- Static and dynamic strength and vibration tests of elements of transport equipment.

- Laser – Dual Power B 200-15.
- Two cameras HiSense Zyla USB sCMOS 5.5 MP.
- Optics with continuously adjustable focal length.
- Suspension for cameras with two bearing heads and one mounting axle (Scheimpflug mount).
- Computer system with specialized computer software (Dynamic Studio) for the processing of measured flow-field parameters.
- High resolution synchronizer with an 8 channel block.
