The laboratory performs synthesis of 2D (two-dimensional) materials by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), separation of solutions and particles, deposition of thin coatings by centrifugation, optical and opto-electrical measurements. Potential partners / clients can be research teams at national and international level, as well as companies related to nano-optoelectronics, spintronics (AI), green energy, sensors and health care.
ACTIVITIES
The Laboratory develops nanolayers of two-dimensional materials such as graphene and transition metal chalcogenides, centrifugal separation of solutions and deposition of thin layers, performs optical microscopic analysis, as well as optical and opto-electrical measurements.
- Controlled synthesis of nanolayers of transition metal chalcogenides on different types of substrates;
- Controlled synthesis of graphene and transfer on different types of substrates;
- Synthesis of boron nitride (h-BN);
- Separation of solutions containing different types of particles by high speed centrifugation and deposition of thin layers by centrifugation;
- Centrifugal deposition of thin layers in a chemical fume hood;
